For the babies at church

My friend mentioned that the nursery needed some doll blankets.  I was so happy to make some.  I love a project, especially a quick project!

These mini quilts are about 20x20.  They are the perfect size for little dolls.  I lined the back in flannel so they are soft and easy to wrap around a doll.  I love the yellow, gray, and green one, but I'm sure the pink will be the favorite one.

My own two girls were drooling over them...good thing their pretty quick to whip up!

De-Lish!

To any viewer still hoping for post...

My latest craving (Not Pregnancy craving, just a craving) is toasted sandwiches.   So easy, so delicious.  The possibilities are endless.  But here is the recipe for my favorite, easy-peasy, go-to toasted sandwich.

Yummy ciabatta bread from your local grocery store (or french bread)
Tomatoes (I only had cherry here, but usually bigger is better)
Garlic
butter
provolone
Ground salt and pepper

Directions: Slice your bread to desired thickness.  Take 1 TBSP. of butter and mix with 1/4 tsp of minced garlic.  Or more if you like.  Butter your bread slices.  Then layer your sliced tomatoes, top with a slice of cheese.  Grind up some fresh salt and pepper to make it extra yummy and pretty.

Then I toast these bad boys in the oven on High Broil.  WATCH CLOSELY!  They will turn from yummy to crummy in seconds.  Usually 2-5 minutes will do it.  Enjoy!

Now it's your turn to try it out and come up with your own combination
Pizza bread?
Ham, mustard and swiss?
see endless possibilities.
